Terms of Service

The agreement between you and CodeMetrix when you use this site, enrol on a course, or apply for an internship.

Version 1.0 · In effect from 24 September 2026 · Reference 1669158918f4e50f

These terms are the agreement between you and CodeMetrix when you use this website, enrol on a course, or apply for an internship. They are written to be read. Where a term limits what you can expect from us, it says so plainly rather than hiding in a paragraph of capital letters.

By creating an account, enrolling, or applying, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. Who you are dealing with

The service is operated by CodeMetrix, an MSME-registered training provider in India.

  • Address: Patia, Bhubaneswar
  • MSME registration: Udyam-OD-19-0162791
  • Contact: codemetrix1@gmail.com

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean CodeMetrix. "You" means the person using the service. "Programme" means any course, internship, workshop or other training we offer.

2. Who may use the service

You must be 18 or over. Our programmes are built for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students and for working professionals, and our accounts are not intended for children. This matches our Privacy Notice, which explains why we do not offer accounts to under-18s at all.

You must give accurate details when you register, and keep them current. If you enrol on behalf of an institution or an employer, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that they accept these terms too.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us immediately at codemetrix1@gmail.com if you think someone else has it.

One account, one person. Accounts are not transferable, and sharing login details so that several people can take one enrolment is a breach of these terms — it is also the most common reason an account gets suspended.

We verify your email address before letting you in. Until you click the link we send, the account exists but cannot be used.

4. Enrolment, fees and payment

The fee for each programme is the one shown on its page at the time you enrol, in Indian Rupees (INR). Where a fee is inclusive or exclusive of GST, the programme page says which.

We accept payment online through Razorpay, our payment gateway, and — where a programme offers it — by cash or UPI transfer arranged with us directly. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials; Razorpay handles those under its own terms and its own PCI-DSS obligations.

A payment is not an enrolment until we confirm it. An online payment confirms automatically within a few seconds. A cash or UPI payment is marked pending until a member of our team verifies it, which can take a working day. You will see the status on your purchases page either way.

If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back after you have been given access, we may suspend that access until the position is resolved.

5. What we provide

We provide the programme described on its page: the lessons, materials, mentoring and assessment it lists, for the period it states. Where a programme is delivered to a cohort on fixed dates, those dates are part of what you are buying.

We may improve a programme while you are on it — correcting material, adding lessons, replacing a tool with a current one. We will not materially reduce what a programme contains after you have paid for it. If we have to change a cohort's dates or its mode of delivery, we will tell you as early as we can, and you may cancel for a refund under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Access to course material is for the duration stated on the programme page. Where no duration is stated, access continues for as long as we offer the programme.

6. Internships and mentoring

Our internships are academic programmes aligned to NEP-2020 and the UGC CCFUP framework. They are structured fieldwork with a mentor, assessment and a certificate.

An internship with us is not employment. It creates no contract of service, no employer-employee relationship, and no entitlement to wages, leave or statutory employment benefits. It is not a guarantee of a job offer from us or from anyone else.

When you are assigned a mentor, that mentor can see the details you have given us for the programme — your contact details, education history, submitted work and uploaded documents. Our Privacy Notice sets out exactly what is shared and why. Applying to a programme is how you consent to that sharing, and you can withdraw the application before it is accepted.

You are expected to attend, to submit work by the dates given, and to do your own work. A mentor may decline to certify an internship that was not actually completed.

7. Certificates

We issue a certificate when you complete a programme to the standard it sets. Every certificate carries a number and can be checked by anyone holding that number at our certificate verification page, without an account.

A certificate records that you completed a programme with us. It is not a degree, not a diploma awarded by a university, and not a licence or a professional qualification. Whether an institution grants you academic credit for it is that institution's decision, not ours.

We may revoke a certificate — and the verification page will then show it as revoked — if it was obtained through impersonation, plagiarism, falsified attendance, or a payment that was later reversed.

8. Acceptable use

When you use the service, you agree not to:

  • copy, record, download, resell or redistribute course material, except where a lesson explicitly offers a download for your own study;
  • share your account, or take an assessment on someone else's behalf;
  • submit work that is not your own, whether copied from another person, from the internet, or generated and presented as your own;
  • upload anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or containing malware;
  • harass, abuse or discriminate against another student, a mentor or our staff, in any channel we provide;
  • scrape, crawl, load-test, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service;
  • use the service to build or train a competing product.

If you find a security flaw, please report it to codemetrix1@gmail.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine flaw responsibly and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

9. Intellectual property

The programmes, lessons, slides, assessments, code samples, brand and site design are ours, or are licensed to us. Enrolling gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the material for your own learning, for as long as you have access. It gives you nothing else.

Your work stays yours. Projects, assignments, code and reports you submit remain your intellectual property. You give us permission to store them, to show them to your mentor and assessors, and to keep them as the record behind your certificate. If we ever want to use your work as a public example or a case study, we will ask you first.

10. Material prepared with AI assistance

Some of our course material is drafted with the help of AI tools and then reviewed by a human before it is published. We tell you this because you should know it, not because it changes what we owe you: we remain responsible for the accuracy of what we publish.

Technical material dates. Where a lesson gives a command, a version number or an API, check it against the current documentation before relying on it in production. Tell us at codemetrix1@gmail.com if you find something wrong and we will correct it.

11. Third-party services

The service depends on providers we do not control — our payment gateway, our email provider, our hosting and storage provider, and the analytics described in our Cookie Policy. Their own terms apply to what they do, and our Privacy Notice names each of them and says what data reaches them.

Where we link to an external site, we are not responsible for its content.

12. Suspension and closing your account

You may stop using the service at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account — the Privacy Notice explains how, what we delete, and the narrow set of records we are required to keep afterwards.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault — we withdraw a programme, for example — you are refunded under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If we close it because of a serious breach by you, no refund is due.

13. What we do not promise

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we do not promise that:

  • the service will be uninterrupted or error-free — we do maintenance, and things occasionally break;
  • completing a programme will get you a job, an interview, an academic credit or any particular outcome;
  • the material is suitable for any specific purpose you have in mind beyond what the programme page describes.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Indian consumer protection law gives you rights that these terms do not take away.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a programme is limited to the amount you paid us for that programme. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, opportunity or data, or for loss arising from your own breach of these terms.

15. Your responsibility to us

If we suffer a loss because you used the service unlawfully, infringed someone's rights, or breached these terms, you agree to cover that loss — limited to what the breach actually caused, and only where we tell you about the claim and let you help deal with it.

16. Grievances

If something goes wrong, raise a ticket through our support desk or write to codemetrix1@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge within two working days and to resolve within 30 days.

For anything about your personal data specifically, our Grievance Officer is our Grievance Officer, reachable at codemetrix1@gmail.com — see the Privacy Notice.

17. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version and effective date at the top of this page tell you which version you are reading, and the reference code identifies the exact text.

If a change materially affects you — the fees, your rights, or what we owe you — we will tell registered users by email before it takes effect. A change never applies retrospectively to a programme you have already paid for. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that nothing here prevents you from bringing a complaint before a consumer forum with jurisdiction where you live.

Before going to court, please talk to us. Most disputes we have seen were a misunderstanding that a conversation fixed.

19. The rest

  • If a court finds one of these terms unenforceable, the others still stand.
  • If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given it up.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else. We may transfer ours if our business is reorganised or sold, and we will tell you if that happens.
  • These terms, together with the Privacy Notice, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between us.
